Long time member, Monique Santiago, recently participated in Southern Journeys interview program. She was given a week of vacation toward her membership for telling us about the vacations she has taken with Southern Journeys.

Recently, Ms. Santiago traveled to Panama City, Florida with her family. A beach-going family, they had a wonderful experience exploring the various beaches in the area and soaking up sun on the white sand. They stayed at a “beautiful, two bedroom, upper floor room” that was “beachside with a balcony,” Ms. Santiago described. Ms. Santiago and her guests especially enjoyed that after a long day of swimming in the surf they were simply able to walk into their accommodation for entertainment and food at the in-house piano bar. “It was a good area to be in because while the adults were doing our thing, the teenagers could go to any of the shops or restaurants nearby.”

About an hour outside Panama City is Destine, Florida. Ms. Santiago and her family had a blast at the Big Kahuna’s Lost Paradise Waterpark and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium. Both proved to be a great time for the kids, teens, and adults. After checking out the sights, the family explored more beaches in the greater Destine area. “It was super easy to work with the travel agency,” Ms. Santiago said. “They were very helpful in helping me find someplace to go and look for activities and things for us to do.”

We at Southern Journeys would like to thank Mrs. Santiago and her family for choosing to make new memories with us. We look forward to helping them plan their next beach vacation to Mexico! If you have a travel story you would like to share with us, call Membership Services at 855-365-5997 to schedule an interview.
